Meet Leah Kaiz Fellows, a national online sales trainer for the new home sales industry. Confident speaker, creative writer, and founder of Blue Gypsy Inc. in 2010. She has nearly two decades of experience working in the new home building industry since she docked in 2006 and hopped off sailboats and began working in model homes. Leah is a strong educator with a background in sales and marketing and a degree in communication from Boston University.
In her early years in new home sales Leah managed site leads before transitioning to the builder’s office where she created and ran the online sales counselor (OSC) program and represented 32% of overall sales when the industry national average was 20-25% of overall sales. As an OSC she was passionate about people and driven by the thrill of overturning objections and helping people find the home of their dreams. Now her inspiration is helping builders create sales by implementing and training unique individuals who hold her passions and values.
After years of managing thousands of leads, fielding countless emails and phone calls, overturning a myriad of objections, and setting appointments to help make sales for builders she created and perfected her online sales training program. Built on the principles she learned from real world experience; she crafts her training to the needs of her clients. Many builders still have not implemented this crucial dedicated role in their organizations, or if they have, it’s time to audit and improve those programs. Her goal is to make it possible for local and regional custom and production builders to compete with the big dogs by creating this important customer journey focused role.
Leah brings a unique relatable quality to all her interactions accredited to a diverse life experience. Her life’s path took her around the world for 13 years as a traveler, a sailboat captain, dive instructor, and bartender before settling into the real estate world in 2006.
Leah is currently on the NAHB Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) Board of Trustees, and on the Metro Denver SMC Board. She is the current Chair of the Education and Communication Sub-committee for NAHB Professional Women in Building (PWB), and she is on the PWB Board at Metro Denver HBA and the past Chair of the PWB Mentoring Committee.
